1: Exaggerated video style, Subtle hints to domestic violence in the lyrics however the visuals are exaggerating the severity.

    Katy perry's song was very upbeat and colourful, where she was subtly complimenting someone, whereas PINK was exaggerating a theme of domestic violence through creative  and surreal videography.

2: The music video was creative as by each new verse the physical appearance of both characters deteriorated from normal to almost monster looking by the end, which may suggests she views herself as a monster.  As it is surrealist, it almost opposes the title where she shows a violent relationship however the title 

Umbrella by Rihanna is an illustrative music video as it is dancing and lip syncing.
